20 Best Sports Themed Halloween Costumes
Halloween costumes are one of the most fun but stressful parts of parenting in the Fall (let’s leave out juggling school, homework, practices, games, and out-of-state tournaments, ok?) Add in 4 kids and ten different ideas per kid per week, and naturally, I wait until the very last minute to purchase anything. If you find yourself in this boat this week, here are a few ideas - - many items you might just have in your kid’s closet, or if you’re like, in the trunk of your van.

1. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air: Grab a Bel-Air jersey, your kid’s favorite hoodie, and the brightest neon hat (don’t forget to wear it backward), and they are the new Fresh Prince.
2.Dottie from A League of Their Own: Have a baseball star? Dottie was my all-time favorite sports movie star of my childhood. In movies, that is.

4. Babe Ruth: Go vintage as the GOAT of baseball.
5. Jackie Robinson: More of a Dodgers fan?
6. Lebron James/Michael Jordan: Space Jam. Who doesn’t want to rock a Tune Squad jersey and be one of the greatest basketball players of all time?

One of the best things about your kid wanting to dress up in sports gear is you just might already have everything you need in your house!
7. Cristiano Ronaldo: For my son’s sixth birthday, we bought him a Ronaldo jersey, as he was his favorite soccer player then. Add in some soccer shorts, cleats, a little swagger, and voila! We have Cristiano Ronaldo!
8. Simone Biles: Your kid’s favorite leotard or a USA tracksuit, grab a few medals off their medal hanger, and they are ready to go!
9. Kobe Bryant: Have an old Lakers jersey?
10. Tom Brady: Football helmet. Patriots or Jags jersey. Add pads for extra!
11. Serena Williams: Serena is known for her fashion on and off the court, so your daughter has many fabulous options!
